In this episode, an ancient Peruvian dagger that belongs to the professor Allan Norton disappears.
The professor goes to Craig Kennedy and asks him to find out who stole his precious weapon.
At the same time, the characters hear that a wealthy Peruvian man has been murdered with the missing dagger.
Craig Kennedy tries to keep track of his friend’s property. In addition he now has to protect the dead Peruvian’s daughter.
During his expedition, the detective encounters Signora de Moche and her son, amongst others. They are of Inca descent and have a link with both the dagger and the wealthy family.
Throughout their eventful journey, the protagonists must not forget the “Curse of the Manische” that threatens them.
