Tom is new in the neighborhood. He wants to invite his neighbors to his son's birthday party. He sees a noticeboard near the park. "How can I use this board?" he asks Mrs. Lee, his neighbor.

Mrs. Lee says, "You can write on the paper here. Put the date and time of the party. Write the place too. Be polite and say, 'You are welcome!'

Tom writes: 'Birthday party for my son. Saturday, 3 PM. At our home, 12 Oak Street. You are welcome!'

Many neighbors see the note. Some talk to Tom and smile. They like how he invites them politely. Tom feels happy and ready for the party.
