Bus Stop Chat: Greetings Around the World
Two people wait at a bus stop. One asks, "Do people say hello in other ways around the world?"
The other replies, "Yes! In Japan, people bow to say hello. In Spain, people kiss on the cheek."
"Really? What about in the United States?" the first person asks.
"In the U.S., people often shake hands or just say 'Hi' or 'Hello'. It’s simple," the other says. "Different places have different ways, but all mean the same thing—friendship."
