Today I want to share how I met my new neighbor online using our neighborhood app. First, I created my profile with a photo and a short hello message. It was easy and helped other people know who I am.

Next, I sent a polite message to my new neighbor. I said, "Hi, I’m Alex, your neighbor next door. Welcome to the neighborhood!" Being friendly and clear helped to start a good conversation.

Then, we agreed to meet in a public park nearby. We chose a safe place during the daytime. Meeting in person after chatting online made me feel happy and more connected to my community.
