Counting Coins at the Corner Store

Maria walked to the corner store. She wanted to buy a snack. At the counter, she opened her small purse.

"How much do I have?" she asked herself, looking at the coins. She counted ten cents, five cents, and five cents. "I have twenty cents."

The candy costs fifty cents. Maria smiled. "I need to save more money," she said. She put the coins back and walked home.
