Deadline Dance

The office was noisy with people typing and talking. Jake, the lead programmer, stared at his screen. The video game update was due tomorrow. He was nervous but focused.

Mia, the graphic designer, walked over. "Jake, the new character looks too bright. It doesn’t fit the game mood," she said. Jake frowned. "But it needs to be clear. Players have to see it well."

They argued for a few minutes. Suddenly, Mia’s coffee cup slipped, spilling on Jake’s keyboard. Both froze. "Oh no!"

Jake laughed, "Well, I guess this means we need a break." Mia smiled. They decided to talk over lunch to find a middle ground.

After lunch, they mixed their ideas. The character’s color was softer, but still visible. The team finished the update on time. Everyone was tired but happy.

Later, Jake joked, "Next time, no coffee near the computer." Mia laughed, "Or at least I’ll bring a bigger cup!" Their funny moment helped the team relax and work better together.
