I often sit alone in the school library during lunch. I see groups of friends talking and laughing loudly. Sometimes, I wish I could join them, but I feel shy and afraid to speak.

One day, I watched two girls share a funny story. One said, "Remember when we got lost? That was scary!" They smiled and looked happy. I realized everyone wants friends, even if it is hard to find them sometimes.

This made me think about how loneliness is something we all feel at times. Even if we seem different, inside we want the same things—love and friendship. It helped me accept my feelings and hope for good friends soon.
