Locked Out at Midnight

12:15 AM - Lisa knocked on the door, voice low but urgent. "Hey, can you open up? I think my laptop is still charging in the living room."

12:16 AM - Silence. Lisa heard footsteps but no reply. The door stayed locked.

12:18 AM - Frustrated, Lisa texted, "Why won’t you let me in? This isn’t funny."

12:20 AM - A message popped up: "Sorry, just needed some space. I felt like you were going through my stuff earlier."

12:22 AM - Lisa felt confused but calm. She messaged back, "I didn’t mean to invade your privacy. I must have picked up your notebook by mistake."

12:30 AM - The door unlocked slowly. Sarah looked relieved but tired. "I should’ve told you why I was upset instead of locking the door. I’m sorry."

12:35 AM - Lisa smiled, glad the crisis was over. "Let’s agree to respect each other’s space. We can always talk if something’s wrong."

2:00 AM - Both roommates settled back with their work, a little wiser about living together and handling misunderstandings calmly.
