Midnight Apology on Maple Street
Last night, after the party, Anna realized she sent a silly text to her best friend, Mia. The message was funny at the time, but now she felt embarrassed and worried.
The next morning, Anna walked to Mia's house to say sorry. When Mia opened the door, Anna said, "I'm really sorry for that text. I didn't mean to bother you or say anything wrong."
Mia smiled and said, "It's okay, Anna. I like that you told me. Maybe next time, try to think before you send messages when you drink."
They sat down and talked about how to respect each other's feelings. It made their friendship stronger. Anna felt happy she could clear the air and be honest.
