Neighbors and New Beginnings
I used to live next door to Jake, my boyfriend at the time. At first, everything was good, but soon he became jealous of my friends and blamed me for small things. I felt sad and worried every day. One day, I said to him, "Why do you always blame me? I want to feel happy, not scared."
After we broke up, I met Sam. He listens and talks clearly. We say, "I feel this way," or "Can we try to understand each other?" This makes our love strong and peaceful. Respect and good communication are very important in any relationship.
I want to tell others: if your partner makes you unhappy with jealousy or blame, it is okay to leave. True love means respect and honesty. You deserve to feel good and safe every day. Love should help us grow, not hurt us.
