The Dorm Room Data Dash
The dorm room was loud with chatter until Mia shouted, "Guys, look at this! Someone’s logged into my laptop from another city!" Jake leaned in, eyes wide. "That’s got to be a hacker. We can’t let them take your files."
"I’ve got some chat logs here," said Mia, scrolling fast. "Look, this message says, ‘Meet at the library at 9.’ Maybe that’s where they’ll try again."
Without wasting a second, the group grabbed their jackets. "Let’s move fast," said Emma. "If we get there first, we might catch the hacker in action!"
At the library, they watched the entrance. Soon, a nervous-looking student checked their phone and quickly sat down. Jake whispered, "That must be them. Mia, let’s see if your laptop can trace the connection live."
Moments later, they confirmed the hacker’s location. Emma called campus security while Mia blocked her accounts. "We did it — teamwork saved our data," Mia smiled, relieved.
The clock ticked closer to the exam panic, but the friends knew they’d stopped the worst. This heist against the hacker was their best win yet.
