The Forgotten Fundraiser
In the small village of Maplewood, Anna, a young teacher, wanted to help the local school. She started a charity event to raise money for new books. Many villagers gave money, but Anna forgot to write down the amounts. This caused confusion and some people were unhappy.
One day, Mrs. Green came to Anna and said, "I gave ten dollars, but you didn’t say thank you." Anna felt bad and knew she made a mistake. She talked to the villagers and said, "I’m sorry for the mistake. I want to solve this together."
Anna then made a clear list and asked everyone to check the amounts they gave. They agreed on the total money raised. The villagers trusted Anna again because she was honest and responsible.
In the end, they bought new books for the school. Anna learned it is very important to be honest and careful with money. The whole village was happy and closer than before.
