The Island Post Office

It was 1942 on a small Scottish island. The postmaster, Mr. MacLeod, opened the post office each day. Letters came from far away, and he gave them to the villagers.

One day, a strong storm hit. The boats could not come to the island. People were afraid. "We cannot get new letters," said Mrs. Brown.

Mr. MacLeod said, "Do not worry. We have all we need here. We will wait together." The island was quiet, but the people felt close because of the post office.
