The Market Stall Mix-Up
It was a busy morning at the town market. John, the fruit vendor, noticed something strange. His price tags and the tags of a nearby vendor, Maria, were switched. "That’s not right," John said. "My apples now say $1, but they should be $3."
A curious shopper, Lucy, saw the problem too. "Who would do this?" she asked. John and Lucy looked around quietly. They saw Tom, another vendor, near the tags but he looked nervous.
Lucy said, "Let’s ask Tom. Maybe he knows what happened." Tom said, "I didn’t do it! I want fair prices for all." They all agreed to watch carefully and keep the market fair.
In the end, they found the real prankster was a kid, playing with the tags. John said, "Honesty is important here. We work together and help each other." Maria smiled, "Yes, the market is a good place with friends and truth."
