At the family party, Aunt Edna's muffins were on the table. Everyone wanted one but, when Sam looked again, the muffins were gone.

Sam said, "Who took the muffins?" His sisters helped him ask the family. Uncle Joe laughed, "I did not take them!" said Mom.

Then, little Tim said, "I took them! I wanted to hide them for a joke!" Everyone laughed. Sam said, "Let's share the muffins next time."

The family laughed and ate the muffins together. It was a happy day and Sam felt proud to solve the mystery.
