Anna and Tom walk on the beach. They see a lot of plastic trash on the sand. "We should pick this up," says Anna. "Yes," Tom agrees, "plastic can hurt fish and birds in the ocean."

They talk about how plastic trash is a big problem in the world. "Many animals eat plastic by mistake," says Tom. Anna nods, "It is not good for the water or animals."

"What can we do?" asks Anna. Tom says, "Use less plastic and recycle more. Countries can make rules, and people can help every day."

Anna smiles, "If everyone helps, beaches and oceans can be clean and safe again." They keep picking up trash together.
