The Relay Baton Moment

At the small town office picnic, the whole team gathered around the field for the relay race. Our manager, Mr. Taylor, was always very controlling, telling us exactly how to run every step. "Make sure you pass the baton this way," he said, watching us closely. It made us all nervous.

When it was my turn to run last, I felt the pressure. The crowd was cheering, but suddenly I tripped and fell. For a moment, I wanted to give up. Then I heard my teammates shouting, "You can do it! Get up!"

I picked myself up, holding the baton tightly, and kept running as fast as I could. Crossing the finish line, I wasn’t sure if we won. But everyone clapped and smiled.

That day, I learned that it wasn’t about following every order perfectly or winning the race, but about trusting my team and never giving up, even when things are tough.
