Unexpected Partnership on Tokyo Subway
Hi there!
Right now, I'm squeezed into a busy Tokyo subway train, and something unexpected happened that's really changed how I think about work stress. Just a few minutes ago, I started chatting with a fellow passenger—a local office worker—about how stressful our jobs can be. She told me, "In my team, we always share the tough parts, so no one feels alone." It made me realize I often try to handle everything on my own, which only makes things harder.
Watching how smoothly everyone works together here, even in these packed trains, gave me a new perspective. Maybe instead of trying to fix problems solo, reaching out to colleagues could actually ease the load. It feels like a small but important lesson from this trip.
Hope all is well back home. I'll keep you posted as I explore more of this amazing city and learn even more about working—and living—better.
Talk soon, Emma
